Although I’ve been publishing my Coffee Spot Guides to various UK cities since 2015, I’ve shied away from London for various reasons, most notably because the London scene is huge and there is no way I can do it justice. It’s also been historically well covered by the likes of the London Best Coffee App (now just Best Coffee) and various bloggers, although those have come and gone, with only really Bex of Double Skinny Macchiato lasting the distance. For those who like things paper-based, there’s also the London Coffee Guide.

However, I’ve decided that it’s about time that I threw my hat into the ring with the Coffee Spot Guide to London. As with all my guides, this is not meant to be definitive. I could spend every day of the week in London finding new Coffee Spots and I still probably wouldn’t keep up, so if your favourite coffee shop is missing, it’s probably just because I haven’t had time to visit.

Rather than dump all 200+ Coffee Spots on you in one go, I’ve decided to split London up into more manageable regions, going with the postcode as the determining factor. I’ve split London into Inner and Greater London, with Inner London further split into eight areas, with postcodes starting E, EC, N, NW, SE, SW, W and WC.

I’m going to roll these individual guides out over the next couple of months, starting with the two central postcodes, EC and WC. If the area in the list below has a hyperlink, then that guide has been released.
