The Atomic Bomb Dome, also known as the Hiroshima Peace Memorial, is what remains of the Industrial Promotion Hall, destroyed by the first atomic bomb to be used in World War II.

The Atomic Bomb Dome, also known as the Hiroshima Peace Memorial, is the remains of the Industrial Promotion Hall, destroyed by the first atomic bomb to be used in World War II, dropped on Hiroshima by the United States Army Air Forces from the Enola Gay in August 1945 .
