2015 Awards – Most Popular Coffee Spot

Artigiano Espresso & Wine BarSo, here it is, the final Coffee Spot Awards Shortlist for 2015, the only one that you, my readers, decide. It’s the “Most Popular Coffee Spot” Award, which is based on the total number of views received by each Coffee Spot in 2015. This year I’ve decided to exclude Coffee Spots published in previous years, a tricky call since 12 of the 20 most popular Coffee Spots (by views) were published in previous years!

Last year this was won by Artigiano Espresso, Exeter with 1,324 views. This year, no-one got that close, but the winner got past 1,000 views, while three more Coffee Spots had over 900 views. Of the 12 most viewed Coffee Spots, two are from London and two from Nottingham, with one each from Bath, Brighton, Newcastle, Edinburgh and Manchester. The remaining three are Saturday Supplements.

You can see the shortlist after the gallery.

  • Forum Coffee House, another popular Coffee Spot from Bath.
  • Doctor Espresso - Mama V's, one of my favourite London Spots, and yours too, I see.
  • Bond Street Coffee, a recent arrival in Brighton and proving very popular.
  • The first Saturday Supplement on the shortlist, Made by Knock: Hausgrind and Feldgrind.
  • Beany Green, Liverpool Street, the latest of the Beany Green branches.
  • The second Saturday Supplement, my report on the 2015 Coffee Stops Awards.
  • Sheffield's Foundry Coffee Roasters also is on the shortlist as the 3rd Saturday Supplement.
  • Nottingham's 200 Degrees, a Coffee Stops Award winner. A Coffee Spot winner too?
  • Staying in Nottingham, Greenhood Coffee House hasn't been open long, but it's a hit.
  • Another new opening, BLK Coffee in Newcastle, also proving very popular.
  • However, The Milkman, which has only been open a couple of months, is a real surprise...
  • ... which is also the case for Ancoats Coffee Co, Royal Mills!
