So, here it is, the final Coffee Spot Awards Shortlist for 2022, the only one that you, my readers, decide. It’s the “Most Popular Coffee Spot” Award, which is based on the total number of views received by each Coffee Spot in 2022.
Last year this was won last year by Lily London, Guildford. This year’s top 10 consists of seven Coffee Spots, including three from my trip to California over the summer, and three Saturday Supplements.
You can see the shortlist after the gallery.
There are ten Coffee Spots on the shortlist this year, all listed in order of publication.
Cocco Patisserie & Coffee
Making Coffee at Home: Cloth Filters
Dark Woods Coffee x Ruffians
Coffee Gator Espresso Machine
Press Bros. Coffee, Lark Lane
Saint Frank Coffee, Menlo Park
Voyager Craft Coffee, Santa Clara University
Coffeebar, Redwood City
Il Grifone at Prufrock
A special mention needs to go to the following:
- Frank Green Ceramic Cup: my write up of the Frank Green Ceramic Cup, pulbished late in 2020, was actually the most popular Coffee Spot of both 2021 and 2022
- Another Brother: published in late 2021, Another Brother was easily the most popular coffee shop, in terms of views received, for 2022
- Amtrak Downeaster, Part II: I don’t include my Travel Spots in the Coffee Spot Awards, but if I did, the second of my two writes about Amtrak’s Downeaster service would have come second this year
The winner will be announced on Monday, 2nd January. In the meantime, don’t forget to check out the other 19 Coffee Spot Awards for 2022.
