2022 Awards – Most Popular Coffee Spot

A lovely flat white, made with a naturally-processed Brazilian single-origin and served in my HuskeeCup at Lily London in Guildford. So, here it is, the final Coffee Spot Awards Shortlist for 2022, the only one that you, my readers, decide. It’s the “Most Popular Coffee Spot” Award, which is based on the total number of views received by each Coffee Spot in 2022.

Last year this was won last year by Lily London, Guildford. This year’s top 10 consists of seven Coffee Spots, including three from my trip to California over the summer, and three Saturday Supplements.

You can see the shortlist after the gallery.

  • Cocco Patisserie & Coffee, a newcomer to Guildford's speciality coffee scene.
  • Taking a look at reusable Cloth Filters in the Saturday Supplement.
  • Dark Woods Coffee x Ruffians, a coffee bar in the London barbershop.
  • Betty Berkins, lovely coffee and cake, with some great views in the North Wales hills.
  • Coffee Gator Espresso Machine, taking a look at the budget home espresso machine.
  • Press Bros. Coffee, Lark Lane, a lovely coffee shop in Aigburth, Liverpool.
  • Saint Frank Coffee, Menlo Park, by the Caltrain station of the same name in California.
  • Voyager Craft Coffee, Santa Clara University, another coffee shop from my summer trip.
  • Coffeebar, Redwood City, the third entry on the shortlist from California.
  • Il Grifone at Prufrock, taking a look at a restored vintage lever espresso machine.

  • Amtrak Downeaster, Part II: I don’t include my Travel Spots in the Coffee Spot Awards, but if I did, the second of my two writes about Amtrak’s Downeaster service would have come second this year
